Stephana's strongest passion is serving Christ through helping people. Stephana believes strongly in creating a safe space for people to heal and grow, no matter the spiritual, cultural, or religious background. Stephana's gifting is connecting with people and children on an emotional level that encourages and greatly enhances the processes she brings to the healing journey. Stephana empowers her clients to embrace healing and is privileged to support and walk alongside while healing happens from within the individual.
Stephana's combination of CBT, Family Systems Theory, and Solution Focused Therapy pairs with Dr. McClannahan's guadance in play and art therapy to provide an organic and holistic approach to healing. Stephana loves working with children and adolescents, helping the littlest ones play through their heartaches, traumas, and hurts. She believes that the role of the caregiver is intimately connected to the child's healing, so it is important to assist the child and parent/caregiver in bonding and growing together. Stephana completed her masters in counseling at Liberty University.
Stephana has been married for twenty years and has two teenage children. In her spare time, she loves to hang out with her family while going for walks and playing board games. You will most likely find her and her teenage children spending hours upon hours chatting at IHOP over coffee and pancakes!
